Nerdy Planet is a travel discovery app. It lets you browse an interactive map and feed of science, history, and nature locations worldwide, read articles about those places, save favorites, and track visits. The app is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.
Some features (favorites, visited places, collections) require a free account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the profile settings page in the app, which permanently removes all your data.
Articles, illustrations, map data, and other content provided in the app are owned by Nerdy Planet or used under license. You may read, share, and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute full articles without written permission.
Content you create in the app (notes, ratings, collections) remains yours. By submitting content (such as place suggestions or amendments), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and modify that content within the app.
We do our best to ensure articles are factually accurate, including automated fact-checking. However, content is for informational and entertainment purposes. We are not liable for errors, omissions, or decisions made based on our content. Always verify critical information from primary sources.

The app uses third-party services (Supabase, MapTiler, Cloudflare) as described in our Privacy Policy. The app may also contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
We aim to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. The app requires an internet connection for most features.
Nerdy Planet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app (which is zero — the app is free).
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
